WeChat Pay Payment is a payment methods provided by Tencent. You can use the payment information registered in your WeChat Pay account to pay for Item and other charges.

This is a method for making a payment using the WeChat Pay app on a smartphone.
* Note that when an end user purchases an item using a smartphone with the WeChat Pay app installed, the payment is made by the WeChat Pay app.
Because WeChat Pay provided by SBPS is intended for Japanese companies, the payment of received money is made in Japanese JPY. Note that some specifications are different to those of the WeChat Pay payment provided by WeChat Pay in China.

Main Features
- This payment method is recommended for the cross-border EC intended for China.
- It enables the user to easily shop by just being authenticated through a WeChat Pay account.
- The usage fees are exchanged for Japanese JPY before being paid to Merchants, removing the necessity for the burdensome foreign currency conversion.

Payment Refunds
- Refund destination
The money is refunded through the payment method selected by the end user upon the payment. - Exchange rate for refunds
The paid amount is refunded regardless of the change of the exchange rate.
Investigation of unauthorized use
As a result of a complaint from the end user due to defective items or use that he/she is not aware of, or doubts about unauthorized use by a third party, WeChat Pay may conduct investigation on unauthorized use or charge back (refusal of factoring) may be made. When WeChat Pay notifies SBPS about it, SBPS reports the Merchant about the status as necessary.
Foreign exchange risk
The received money (JPY) of the properly completed payments is paid on the basis of the specified amount (JPY) at the time of the purchase request regardless of the foreign exchange fluctuation. Merchants do not need to calculate foreign exchange gains and losses.
Specifications
The service provided by SBPS (ColossalTech Co., Ltd.) is provided for payment. Note that if a change is made to the specification or economic requirement, the specifications of the service provided by the corporation may also change.
Service Suspension Due to Maintenance, etc.
Maintenance of the Online Payment ASP Service is performed on an irregular basis. Any service suspension due to maintenance will be notified in advance. As a rule, such a notification is made 1 week before the suspension. However, this may not be the case in the event of emergency maintenance.
In addition to SBPS systems, in the event of service outage owing to maintenance work or failure in any system of WeChat Pay, their business partners, or others, SBPS will notify merchants of the situation as soon as possible and investigate the cause of the outage. Note that although SBPS will report to Merchants as soon as we find out the cause, it may take time to determine the cause if the problem is not attributable to us.
About expression of company name upon application
When filing an application through Web Direct, enter the formal company name shown on the certified copy of register of the company or corporation as the company name. When you intend to use the mini program type but the company name is different from that on the certified copy of register, your application may not pass vetting.
Application for InApp type
The entry of an e-mail address is required for the application for the InApp type.
