What is WeChat Pay?
WeChatPay is a Payment service used by many Chinese users provided by Tencent, the company that operates WeChat.

How to pay by opening the WeChat app on your smartphone
*When making purchases using a smartphone with the WeChat app installed, payment will be made through the WeChat app. The WeChat Pay provided by our company is for Japanese corporations, so payments will be made in Japanese yen. Please note that there are some differences in specifications between this and the WeChat Pay provided by Tencent in China.

Main Features

Supported Languages
Wechatpay allows users to switch languages on the user interface.
Payment deadline
When using Wechatpay, there is a time limit of 10 minutes starting from the Transition point on the Wechatpay screen. If the Payment is not completed, the Payment is closed with a timeout.
Payment Refunds

The paid amount is refunded regardless of the change of the exchange rate.
Investigation of unauthorized use
Tencent may investigate unauthorized use due to requests from end users such as Item inadequacies or inadmissibility of use, or suspicion of unauthorized use by a third party.
If we are contacted by Tencent, we will notify merchant of the situation as appropriate.
KYC Investigation
In accordance with Tencent's KYC rules, we will carry out Authorization in the process of merchant.
Depending on the results, we may require you to provide additional information to Tencent or WeChat Pay may be temporarily unavailable.

Foreign exchange risk
The received money (JPY) of the properly completed payments is paid on the basis of the specified amount (JPY) at the time of the purchase request regardless of the foreign exchange fluctuation. Merchants do not need to calculate foreign exchange gains and losses.
About test accounts
Since the WeChat Pay test account can be used in Production environment, please be aware of the following when using it.
- Please make sure your test transaction amount is less than 0.1 dollars (approximately 10 yen).
- After the test, please make sure to complete the Refund procedure on the same day.
Specifications
WeChat Pay provides the services provided by Tencent by integrating them into our Online Payment ASP Service. Please note that if Tencent changes its specifications or economic conditions, the specifications of the Service provided by the Company may also change accordingly.
Prohibited Materials
Tencent has determined the products that are prohibited from being handled by WeChat Pay, and these may be reviewed and updated irregularly. As a result, products that were previously handled may be designated as prohibited. Please note.
Service Suspension Due to Maintenance, etc.
Maintenance of the Online Payment ASP Service is performed on an irregular basis. Any service suspension due to maintenance will be notified in advance. As a rule, such a notification is made 1 week before the suspension. However, this may not be the case in the event of emergency maintenance.
In addition, in the event of a service outage due to system maintenance or malfunction of Tencent or a Tencent partner other than our system, we will promptly notify merchant as soon as we know the situation and investigate the cause. We will notify merchant as soon as we can find the cause, but please note that it may take some time to find the cause if it is not caused by us.
