Service Overview

Google Pay is a payment methods provided by Google. You can use the Credit card information registered in your Google account to pay for Item, etc. Compatible card brands are Visa, Mastercard, JCB, and American Express (AMEX).
To use this service, merchant must implement the Google Pay API provided by Google.

Main Features

  • You can easily make purchases by simply selecting the credit card registered to your Google account.
  • Even if you do not have a credit card registered to your Google account, you can still make Payment by registering a credit card at the time of purchase.
  • The credit card number registered to your Google Account is Encryption via the Google Pay API at the time of Payment, making it safe and secure to use.

The available billing systems and billing system-specific basic specifications are as follows. Each period of time for processing settlement, cancellation, and others performed by the payment administration tool is based on the tool.

*This service does not offer Recurring billing, but merchant can charge continuously by using the re-Authorization API at the time of charging. However, please note that there is a high risk of chargebacks from the second charge onwards, as authentication is not performed by the end user's device.

Specifications
Google Pay is a service provided by Google that is integrated into Online Payment ASP Service. Please note that if Google makes any changes to its specifications or economic conditions, the specifications of the Google Pay service provided by our company may also change accordingly.

Service Suspension Due to Maintenance, etc.
Online Payment ASP Service carry out maintenance on an irregular basis. If there is a service interruption due to maintenance, we will notify you in advance and suspend the service. As a rule, we will notify you at least one week in advance. However, this does not apply in the case of emergency maintenance.
In addition, if a service outage occurs due to a reason other than our system, such as system maintenance or a malfunction of Google, we will notify merchant as soon as we become aware of the situation and investigate the cause. We will notify merchant as soon as the cause is identified, but please note that if the cause is not attributable to our company, it may take some time to identify the cause.

When implementing Google Pay, in the Google Pay API used by merchant, please set the Payment Gateway to "sbps" and the gatewayMerchantId to the "Merchant ID, Service ID" issued by our company.
Please note that SBPS does not respond to inquiries regarding the Google Pay API. merchant should contact Google directly.
