What is Apple Pay?
Apple Pay is a payment methods provided by Apple. You can use the payment information registered in your Apple Pay account to pay for Item and other charges. The usage fee can be paid by the credit card registered in the application on the corresponding device.
You can only register a credit card issued by a credit card company designated by Apple. Compatible card brands are VISA (*), MasterCard, JCB, and American Express (AMEX). However, you can't deploy the app if you're offering it through the App Store and you're charging for an Apple ID within the app. Thank you for your understanding. In addition, if you want to use this service on API type, you need to follow the prescribed procedures in Apple's Apple Developer Program in advance at merchant (link+ API type and no procedures are required if the purchase process is carried out by Link Type).
*If you use Recurring (re-Authorization), you cannot use the VISA brand.

Main Features
- The credit card number registered to Apple Pay is registered as a separate number (Device Account Number) that is linked to each device. When Payment, the Device Account Number is used, so merchant and our company can make Payment without obtaining the credit card number.
- By using Apple's authentication features Touch ID and Face ID, end users can easily make purchases without having to enter their authentication information.
- Apple does not store any Payment information, Payment information cannot be traced back to end users.

*2: Please note that when using the re-Authorization function, there is a higher risk of chargeback because authentication is not performed via the end user's device.
*3: When using the re-Authorization function, if the end user has deleted the card used for the initial Authorization from Apple Pay on their device (including re-registering the card after deletion), the re-Authorization process will not be accepted.
*4: Our ApplePay Link Type uses Apple's "ApplePay On The Web" service. Therefore, please connect to the system with Safari or SFSafariVeiwController recommended by Apple.

If you want to use Apple Pay with Link Type, you must apply for the smartphone compatible screen option.
Specifications
Apple Pay is a service provided by Apple that is integrated into Online Payment ASP Service. If Apple makes any changes to its specifications or economic terms, please note that the specifications of the Apple Pay service provided by our company may also change accordingly.
Service Suspension Due to Maintenance, etc.
Online Payment ASP Service carry out maintenance on an irregular basis. If there is a service interruption due to maintenance, we will notify you in advance and suspend the service. As a rule, we will notify you at least one week in advance. However, this does not apply in the case of emergency maintenance.
In addition, if a service outage occurs due to system maintenance or a malfunction of Apple or an Apple partner other than our system, we will notify merchant as soon as we become aware of the situation and investigate the cause. We will notify merchant as soon as the cause is identified, but please note that if the cause is not attributable to our company, it may take some time to identify the cause.
